This jewel is a unique and singular piece, both because it can be observed and interacted with when worn, and because the know-how required for its design and creation is of a very high standard.
The "Alchemist" sautoir necklace expresses self-improvement. This piece is, above all, a great technical challenge, the creation of which required all my skills acquired over the years: the faceting of the crystal, the cutting of the perfect opal sphere, the meticulous assembly of the different parts in a very discreet way by interlocking the white gold in the crystal.
I chose an opal which I cut into a sphere to highlight its multiple color nuances. I then meticulously set it in a rock crystal, which I faceted; the two parts, assembled around the stone, reflect its play of colors through their different faces.
This opal sphere, enhanced by the facets of the crystal, is significant in itself: it speaks of the radiance we can possess, of the possibility we have to let all facets of our personality shine while remaining whole. Its very weight, worn close to the heart, indicates the transformative power of the jewel.
