This signet ring is part of the heritage of an ancient jewel, long associated with the masculine world, with the notion of a sign, belonging and transmission.
Rather than distorting its origin, I chose to draw inspiration from it to offer a more open, more personal interpretation.
The form retains a classic, deliberately minimalist base. A stable, timeless structure that serves as an anchor for creation.
It is from this foundational line that the signet ring evolves.
Each version is distinguished by the stone it contains. Through its color, texture, and light, the stone transforms the balance of the piece and gives it a unique identity. The signet ring then becomes a space for self-expression, where everyone can find themselves reflected, regardless of social norms.
The curved tabletop plays a central role in this reinterpretation.
Its design introduces a soft, organic movement, contrasting with the expected geometry of a traditional signet ring. This curve offers a fresh aesthetic interpretation, while fulfilling an essential function: enveloping and protecting the stone, like a setting crafted specifically for it.
Between heritage and contemporary creation, this signet ring transcends genres and conventions.
It is conceived as a jewel of presence, both assertive and intimate, intended to accompany those who wear it as a personal, lasting, almost talismanic sign.
